We process your data under the General Data Protection Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2016/679, "GDPR") and the Bulgarian Personal Data Protection Act.
2. What data we collect and why
The Site is static: it needs no account and keeps no user profiles. We collect data only in the three cases below.
2.1. When you order a book
- Data: name and email; for a printed book also phone and an Econt office or address; the books ordered and your note, if you left one. When you pay for an e-book by bank transfer, the bank gives us your name, the account you paid from and the payment reference.
- Why: to confirm the order, send you the book or the file and contact you if needed.
- Legal basis: performance of the contract with you (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and our legal obligation to keep accounting records (Art. 6(1)(c)).
The order form does not store data on the Site. It is sent to us as an email.
2.2. When you subscribe to the newsletter
- Data: email address and, if you give them, name and language.
- Why: to send you new stories and news about the books.
- Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).
You can unsubscribe at any time with the "Unsubscribe" link at the end of every email or by writing to hungrynia@gmail.com.
2.3. Visit statistics
- Data: pseudonymous visit data (without your IP address) from Google Analytics: which pages you opened, your device and browser, approximate location (country or city), where you came from.
- Why: to know which stories are read and to improve the Site.
- Legal basis: your consent, given in the cookie banner (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). Without consent Google Analytics sets no cookies. Details are in the Cookie policy.

When you open the Site, our hosting provider Cloudflare processes your IP address and the technical data of the request. This is needed to show you the page and protect it from attacks. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in running the Site securely (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
We do not process card data. Printed books are paid in cash on delivery, e-books by bank transfer.
